Does an Award has…(any) VALUE? 🙂 That is the question!
Until 5-7 years before, there were 2 big international awards in adult entertainment, and a few smaller ones, mainly targeted to a country or a continent. And it was “clear”: Awards are important! But, as more awards were created in the recent years, it also appeared something called competition (and also hate & dirty games), together with natural questions like: Are some awards more important than others? WHY? Are all awards the same? Which are the differences?
Some even went to the extreme by suggesting that awards have actually zero value…mmmm, most probably, their marketing knowledge are around that level…not to mention their infinite envy for never receiving any trophy or at least (a small) nomination! 😉
Before and after organizing EroAward, we studied or participated also to other awards, to better understand them and learn from our colleagues…We didn’t wake up one day with the idea to revolutionize awards. Ntz! We loved them, we supported them & their organisers, we learned from others and after some YEARS, we thought we can also try to organize it….and one of the things we brought new, is that in 2019, we were the 1st award that at the beginning of the Gala, we made a short presentation on why we believed that awards are important and which are the main values that EroAward brings to the industry and to our nominees & winners.
